Dear Parents, Caregivers and Community Members
Finally spring has sprung! It seems like winter lasted for a very long time, but now we are seeing the flowers bloom and afternoons last for hours.
Right now we are in the middle of MCAS. Grade 5 takes Science/Technology and Grade 6 takes Mathematics. Grade 5 will also complete tryout tests in Math and Social Studies on May 23 and 24. All the students and staff take the MCAS very seriously and we will provide an appropriate testing environmnet.
We have many activities scheduled for June. We will have a couple of "end of year" celebrations, including Field Day (June 21 for Grade 5 and June 22 for Grade 6). The last day of school is Monday, June 27 - on that day we have Grade Level Celebrations planned. Yearbooks and Report Cards will be distributed on that day.
