This colorful wooden replica of the Sumner House will
be a favorite with local collectors. The Sumner House
is located in Shrewsbury's Town Center next to the common.
About the Sumner House: Reverend Joseph Sumner, the
second minister of the First Congregational Church,
commissioned the original house in 1797. This Federal
Colonial is listed on the National Historic Register
and is currently a bed and breakfast owned and operated
by innkeepers Bill and Ellen Glascock.

of the Senior Center General Meeting |
| The
general meeting of the Friends of the Shrewsbury Senior
Center, Inc. will be held at Indian Meadows in Westboro
on Tuesday, June 21, 2005. The social begins at 11:30
and the luncheon of tossed salad, baked boneless breast
of chicken or baked scrod, oven roasted potatoes, vegetable
medley, strawberry shortcake and coffee or tea will
be served at 12:00. Cost is $13.
You may purchase tickets from any Friends member or
at the front desk of the Senior Center. Deadline to
purchase tickets is June 14, 2005. Bring a friend and
enjoy the fun and fellowship until we meet again in
September.

Group to Host Central MA Red Hat Convention |
| Get
ready for the pink, purple and red invasion! 300 members
of the Red Hat Society will dress in red/pink hats and
purple outfits to celebrate Central Massachusetts' second
annual convention at Wachusett Country Club in W. Boylston
on September 24th, 2005, 11 am to 4pm. Games, sing along,
raffles, auction, door prizes,vendors, sit down dinner.Doors
open at 11 am. Registration April 1 to June 1, 2005

This event is hosted by Rubies and Amethysts of
Shrewsbury, MA, a chapter of the Red Hat Society.
Sit down dinner-baked fish or chicken Lunch, Raffle,
